COME CLOSER

Lucernes Melissa Lischer, daughter to a Cameroonian mother and a Swiss father, lives in Zurich at the moment. In the autumn of 2012 Melissa Lischer signed a label deal with profimusic gmbh. Now the day of the release of her first sounds is quickly drawing closer: On 22 February 2013 Melissa Lischer will release her debut single “Come Closer”. There is a music clip available for this wonderful folk pop song that was produced by Toby Meyer.
Already at the early age of six Melissa began to sing and make music with great enthusiasm. At sixteen she was lead singer for the locally known big band “Föhn” from Kriens (Luzern), together with Lea Bissig. This was followed by first recordings and appearances in the Stadtkeller Luzern, at the Luzerner Musikfest and the Willisauer Jazz Festival. Several years of vocal training and an education as a singer/songwriter as well as lessons in piano and guitar molded Melissa Lischer into a musician with a fantastic perspective for her recently launched musical journey as a solo artist.
