Last year Melissa Lischer released her first single „Come Closer“. The debut song not only gathered a huge fan base and was played in many radios in Switzerland but also in Brazil where the song was counted amongst the 10 most popular listener songs for one of their biggest radio stations. Starting at the beginning of this year Melissa Lischer was working for weeks on her debut album „The Creation“ which will be released on May 23. Prior to this the first single off the album „Roots“ will be released on May 2. A music video to this pop song with light folk- and reggae-influences was shot on Mallorca – a song which will bring first summer feelings for sure. The single and the completely self-written album was produced by Andreas „Schibä“ Scheiben (Klangmalerei) and mastered by Dan Suter (Echochamber). Melissa Lischer, daughter to a Cameroonian mother and Swiss father confirms the high hopes for strong songs her promising first single “Come Closer” arose.
